How do you eat an elephant?  One bite at a time.

This blog began several years ago as a way for me to chronicle my journey through graduate school, attempting to gain admission into a PhD program in Hebrew Bible.  My mantra was this image of eating an elephant, of tackling something seemingly impossible and chipping away until the impossible is possible. I have since accomplished my goal, but have found myself called to another career. I am not surprised by this; I am a firm believer in St. Augustine’s prayer “You have made us for yourself, Lord, and our hearts are restless until they rest in you.”

So, my blog continues on, but with a different story. I will continue to blog about current events and happenings from the perspective of a young Catholic woman, wife, and religion teacher.  Thank you for reading.
